TO-DAY'S FORECAST.
GOVERNMENT REPORT.
The Government meteorologist reported last night as follows:—Present indications aro for moderate to strong southerly winds northward of New Plymouth and Napier, variable breezes with southerlies to westerlies prevailing elsewhere; weather fair generally, but changeable, with scattered showers in northern and southernmost districts. Tho barometer' has a rising tendency.
