WIDOW'S MONEY LOST.
£60 DROPPED FROM GIG.
A crocodile-skin handbag containing £60 was lost by a lady, a resident of Now Lynn, about 10 o'clock last night while driving in a gig along tho Threo jlings Road and tho Epsom-Mount Albert Road. The loss is particularly distressing, as the sum represents practically her solo remaining means after a recent visit to England. Sho is, moreover, a widow with threo small children dependent upon hor. Tho driver of the gig returnod the way he had come as soon as the loss w«w discovered, but although some hours wero spent searching tho road with lights, no trace of the bag was found.
