THIMBLE OF ROYALTY.

RELIC FOR ADELAIDE COUNCIL
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.0 p.m.) LONDON. Dec. 10. Queen Mary has presented to the Adelaide City Council a tortoiseshell thimble whicl was once worn by the wife of King William IV., Queen Adelaide, after whom the city was named. The thimble is goldmounted, and is inscribed: "Adelaide R., 1832."
