ACCIDENT IN HAYFIELD.
CHILD SERIOUSLY INJURED.

A six-year-old boy, Jones Hughes, of Hakombe, received serious injury on Tuesday evening while playing with other children in a hayfield. The point of a pitchfork entered the. child's eyes, penetrating the base, of the brain. Tbe sufferer was removed to hosfiital ' and operated upon.
