HAMILTON. Thursday.
The South Auckland Dairy Association considered a draft sharemilking agreement prepared by Mr. A. J. Sinclair. Special attention was given to tvyo points, first, how far a sharemUker should participate in any special payment a dairy company made to an owner on account of shares, and second, how far an owner was liable under the Employers' Liability and Workers' Compensation Act for injuries sustained by a sharemilker in his employ. It was decided to have the agreement redrafted and submitted to a legal authority in order that a standard agi cement would be available to minimise the litigation that so frequently takes place under existing agreements.
