OFFICERS FOR THE YEAR.
The annual meeting of the Auckland Retail' Booksellers' Association was held on Tuesday evening, Mr. H. J. Edraiston presiding. .Messrs. Edmiston and Ke-ily. delegates to the annual conference in Wellington, gave an account'of the gathering,, and reported that the effort to obtain better terms from publishers had been successful. Mr Edmiston resigned his position as president and Mr. A. J. Harding Resigned the position of secretary. Ino following officers were elected:—President Mr. J. W. Kealy: executive, Mrs. Bowlatt, Messrs. H. J. Edmiston; W. E. •irev A. J. Harding, and J. Walker.
