The .Wellington Bowling Centre last evening carried a motion": " That a remit he sent to the Dominion Council suggesting that teams bo iovited from Canada, Australia and South Africa to visit New Zealand in '1925, witlithe object of commencing annual mter-Empir» bowling tournaments."
The mover stated he had interviewed Sir Robert Stout and Lord Jellicoe on the matter, and they cordially approved of the suggestion. A gentleman in Australia had offend to give a cup 'valued at £500 for a competition somewhat similar to the Dips Cup. The seconder of the while not so optimistic as the J»over as to tho success of the scheme, believed it would be endorsed by the Dominion Council, and, even it it could jig lje realised this year, much good might come out of it.
