A. and N.Z. BELGRADE. Dec. 8. Tho wounded American ■ vice-Consul, Mr. Harry Dayton, died. to-day. On Sunday Mr. Dayton arrived at the Consulate in a serious cond ion suffering from a gunshot wound. Ho stated that a Lithuanian girl had shot him. Subsequently the girl in question was found dead at the viccConsul's house, where. ' she had . apparently committed suicide. \ •
