OVERSEAS MAILS.
INCOMING.
The Marama is due at Auckland at 10 a.m to-day. She has 56 bags of Australian mail from Sydney for this port.
A steamer left Sydney for Wellington on Saturday with 15 bags of Australian mail for Auckland. The Maunganui is duo at Wellington from San Francisco on December 22 with a large Quantity of English and American mail for New Zealand. The Moeraki arrived at Wellington from Melbourne yesterday afternoon with mail .from Australia and beyond for Auckland. The letter portion, 22 bags, will reach here by train to-morrow morning, and 162 bags of newspapers, etc., by goods train tomorrow evening
OUTGOING. Outgoing mails for overseas ports close at Auckland as under: — To-day. Australian States, Ceylon, India, China, Japin, Straits Settlements, South Africa and Egypt, per Niagara, at 7 p.m. December 23. Fiji, Japan, Honolulu, Canada, North America, West Indies, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, per Niagara, at 10 a.m. Mails duo at London about January 24. W. J. COW, Chief Postmaster.
