NEW POLITICAL PARTY.
EX-PRESIDENT AS LEADER.
REPUBLICAN LEAGUE FORMED.
A. and N.Z.
PAKIS. Nov. 7.
The ex-President of France, M. Millerand, is returning to active politics. He has seized the opportunity presented by Conservative victories in Britain and America to issue a manifesto appealing for support for a new party, the Republican National League.
M. Millerand attacks the foreign policy of the Premier, M. Herriot, and also his home policy, on the ground that it has not ameliorated the financial situation. He also claims that M. Herriot is submitting more and more to the revolutionary elements.
