THE TEAM ACCIDENT.
MORE SERIOUS INJURIES.
TWO WOMEN VICTIMS
OTHERS LEAVE THE HOSPITAL.
Of the four injured persons who were admitted to the Auckland Hospital after the sensational tramway accident in Wellesley Street on Friday evening, only two remain in the institution—Mrs. Vincent
Morley, of Dexter Avenue, Mount Eden, and Mrs. A. A. Donald, of Gillies' Avenue, Epsom. As a result of an X-ray examination, it has been discovered that Mrs. Morley's injuries are of a more serious nature than was at first thought. In addition to a broken collarbone, the pelvis has been fractured anteriorally in three places, and four ribs have been broken.
An X-ray examination has revealed, in Mrs. Donald's case, a posterior fracture of the pelvis, in addition to a broken collarbone.
Mr. A. A. Donald, who was admitted to the hospital suffering from abrasions and cuts on the head, and shock, returned to his residence yesterday. He is suffering severe pains in the head and is receiving medical and nursing attention in his home. Miss Myrtle Robinson, of Enfield Terrace, Mount Eden, who jumped from the tramcar, and sustained abrasions to hands and slight injuries to her hip, has also returned to her home.
