PONSONBY FLYING CLUB. The Ponsonby Flying Club flew its race on Saturday, from Ohakune, an airline distance of 182 miles. The birds were liberated by the stationmaster in fine weather, and the winner proved to be' R. Speir's m c Searchlight, with a velocity of 1250 yds per minute. Results:—R.
