ORIGIN OF DISEASE. WRONG UPBRINGING IN CHILDHOOD. Addressing a conference: of Health Officers recently, a leading medical authority stated that much of the disease that is prevalent to-day is due to malnutrition and wrong diet in childhood. . The growing body has been starved of vitamines and other essential properties neoessary for full and healthy development of children. The same doctor deplored the use of artificial, preservatised, aud over-cooked food, and urged that children be given more fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, fresh milk and brown bread. Along with these, an occasional jar of "Maltexo" will be found most beneficial.
