QUIET PERSONAL FAREWELL.
Renter. LONDON. Not. G. Sir Charles Fergusson, GovernorGeneral designate of New Zealand, had a quiet farewell when leaving Waterltx> for Southampton, where bo embarked on the Ruahine. There were a number of people present, including the Colonial Office representative*, but mostly personal friends, including Lord Liverpool, Sir James Allen, and Mr. .J. 11. Thomas, ex-M in ister for the Colonies.
