TE AWAMUTU CLUB. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN O'Tl RESPONDENT. ] 'IE AWAI-IUTU. Friday. The final matches in the To Awamutu Bowling Club's championships, left unfinished from last season, were completed on Wednesday. J. 'I'. North and J. Hawkins, who had proved the winners, with one loss, of the Saturday sections, met, and were defeated by S. Clark and R. Noonan, winners of the Wednesday sections, with no losses. Clark, leading, managed to iie shot most of the time, Rnd Hawkins was not able to improve matters, owing to Noonan's position playing- The score at the 19th head was, Clark and Noonan 27, North and Hawkins 9.
The singles championship was won by J. Hawkins (Saturday), who defeated It. L. Henderson (Wednesday) by 4 points.
