Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Manukau County Council, | held 011 the lbtn day of September, 1924, the following- Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Monthly Meeting of the Council, to be held on xuesday, the '21st day of October, 1924, at 10.30 a.m., at the Office of the Council, corner of Princes and Shortland Streets, Auckland. RESOLUTION. That in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by Section IK of •' The Local Bodies' Loans Aot. 1913," nnd of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling, and subject to the precedent consent of the Governor-in-Council. under Section 20 of " The Finance Act, 1919," »nd with the consent of the Ratepayers of the Wallace Road Special Rating Area, in the County of Manukau, hereinafter described. testified by a Petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the Ratepayers in the said Special Rating Area, the Capital Value of whose properties, as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the said County, is collectively greater than the Capital Value of the properties of tho Ratepayers who do not so consent, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order, as follows:— j " That for the purpose of formation, metalling and general improvements to Wallace Koad m the Papakura Riding of the County of Manukau, the Manukau County, Council proceed to raise a Loan of £350, to be called " The Manukau County Council Wallace Road Loan of £350, 1924," at a rate of Interest not to exceed 6 per cent, per annum, for a period of thirty-six and a-half years, and declares that the cost of raising the ■aid .loan, and the first year's Interest and Sinking Fund on the Loan, shall be paid out of the moneys so raised. The proposed security for the said Loan to be a Special Annually recurring rate of thirteen-iixteenths of a penny (13-16 d) in the Pound (£). to be made and levied on the Capital Rateable values of &11 Rateable property in the Wallace Road Special Rating Area, to cover Interest, Sinking Fund and other charges on the said Loan." « SPECIAL RATING AREA. All that area of land within the North Auckland Land District, situated in Block 14, Otahuhu Survey District, Comprising Part Allotments 14. 15, 20, and 21 of Papakura Parish, and bounded, commencing at the North-Wegterti comer of Section 5, being a subdivision of Allot. 14, and thence toward the North-West generally, by the ManurewaAlfriston Main Road to the North-Eastern corner of Section 9, being a subdivision of Allot. 15, and thence toward the North-East generally by the North-Eastern boundaries of Sections 9. 8, 7, 6, 6, 4. 3, 2, and 1, to the North-Western _ boundary of Allot. 21, and thence by the North-Western and NorthEastern boundaries of Allot. 21 to the Papakura Stream, and thence toward the South generally by the said Papakura Stream to the South-western boundary of Allot. 20, una toward the South-West generally by the outh-Western and North-Western boundaries ol Allot, 20, to tho South-Western corner of Section 20 of Allot. 14, and thenCe by the South-Western boundaries of Sections 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, and 5 (all of Allot.. 14), to the point of commencement. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Manukau County Council, held on the 16th day of September. 1924, the following Resolution was passed. and will r.e submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Monthly Meeting of the Council, to be held on Tuesday, the 21st day of October, 1924, at 10.80 a.m., at the Office of the Council, corner of Prince* and Shortland Streets, Auckland. RESOLUTION.' ! The proposed security for the said Loan to be a Special annually recurring rate of three-eighths of a penny (3-8 d) in the Pound (£). to be made and levied cn the Capital Rateable Values of all rateable property in the Oakleigh Avenue Continuation Special Rating Area, to cover Interest. All that mm within _ the Nof th Auckland Land District, situated in Block 14, Otahuhu - Survey District, Comprising portions of Sections 6 and 7, of Takanini's Grant and bounded, commencing on the Main Trunk railway at the crossing by the Papakura Stream, toward the North-West generally by the said Papakura Stream, to the Northern corner of Lot 13 of Part Section 7, thence toward the East generally, by the Eastern boundaries of Lots 13, 12, and 2 to a Public Road, the crossing of ' and by the said Public Road to the North-Eastern cor ner of Lot 42 of - Part Section 6, and thence by the Eastern boundaries of Lots 42 and 35, the crossing of a Road and the Eastern boundaries of Lot 3 22, 21, and 20 to the South-Eastern boundary of Lot 6, thence toward the South-east generally by the South-Eastern ' boundary of Lot 6 to the Main Trunk railway, and thence toward the South-West generally to the point of « commencement by this Main Trunk Railway, be all the aforesaid Sections in the Parish of Papakura.
