AERIAL FATALITIES.
BELGIAN FLYER KILLED.
FALLS FROM 2000 FEET,
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 7.5 p.m.) BRUSSELS, Oct. 12.
During the exercises of some military aeroplanes an observer fell from a height of 2000 ft. and was killed. The pilot did not discover the observer's absence until ho landed.
EXPLOSION IN MID-AIR.
AMERICAN AVIATORS HURT.
(Received 7.5 p.m.) Keutor. NEW YORK. Oct. 11. At Newport News an army airship exploded when it was 150 ft. in the air. Several officers and men were badly injured.
