THE GERMAN ZEPPELIN.
MISTS PREVENT DEPARTURE.

The Zeppelin ZRS, constructed by Germany for the United States, did not start for America this morning as had been arranged. Dignitaries assembled for the ceremonial and speeches were delivered, but the -airship was found to be too heavy to rise.
The explanation was the early morning mists. The flight was' therefore postponed.

SHENANDOAH'S LONG FLIGHT.
(Received 7.5 p.m.) Renter. NEW YORK. Oct, 11. The United States dirigible, Shenandoah, completed a trans-Continental flight at San Diego to-day.
