UNDEFENDED DIVORCE.
WIFE GRANTED A DECREE.
CRUELTY AND DRUNKENNESS.
An undefended divorce cause was heard by Mr. Justice Stringer in the Supreme Court yesterday, when Mary Jane Laird (Mr. A. R. Short) sought a dissolution of her marriage with William Arthur Laird, of Kawakawa, on the grounds of cruelty and drunkenness. Petitioner stated that the marriage took place in 1918. His Honor granted a decree nisi.
