NORTHERN WAiROA CLUB. [bv telegraph.—own correspondent.] DARGAVILLE, Wednesday. The annual meeting of the Northern Wairoa Jersey Cattle Club was presided over by Mr. W. H. Fitness. The report showed that there were 65 members. The balance-sheet showed a small credit. Reference was made ,to ' the successful show hekl last year and also to the demonstrations given by Mr. H. Watson, the official demonstrator for the New Zealand' Jersey Breeders' Association. These had been of great value to members. The furm school had also been of great service. Regret was expressed, however, at the failure to establish an experimental farm. The following committee was elected: — Messrs. W. P. Begg, W. H. Fitness, 11. Clements, P. Marra, A. R. Lewis,. A. R. Valder, A. Rikys. Mr. Valder v. as elected president. A committee was' set up to organise this year's show, to report upon the desirability of changing the location of the showgrounds from Awakino Point to Mangawhare as being' more central, ,to organise a canvass for members and nlso to ask the New Zealand Jersey Breeders' Association to assist in the payment of semi-official testing fees.
