BOWLING.
THE TE AROHA CLUB.
Tho annual meeting of the Te Aroha Bowling Club was well attended. The president, Mr. F. L. Kenrick, occupied the chair.
Tho balance-sheet showed the local revenue as £208 3s lid, including members' subscriptions £62 lis 6d, New Year tournament fees £70 lis, Clothier Shield entries £15 15s, On the expenditure side were: New Year tournament, £41 6s 3d; hire of greens, £17 10s; trophies, £31 10s. There was a credit balanco of £21 13s 6d. Life membership badges were presented to Messrs. G. Sherlock and D. M. L. Wallace, prominent members of the club. : The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. G. Hedge; vice-presidents, Messrs. F; W. Bliss and Wyborn; secretary, Mr. J. Porter; treasurer, Mr. D. Wallace; committee, Messrs. Hesketh, Roach, Peterson, Sellars, Kenrick, and Boles; auditor, Mr.-Hinton; South Auckland delegates, Messrs. F. W. Bliss and E. H. Hankins; Goldfields delegates, Messrs. J. A. Clothier and J. Heathcote; Clothier Shield delegate, Mr. Clothier; Match Committee, Messrs. G. Hedge, J, Heathcote, and Hesketh.
