TECHNICAL. KNOCK OUT,

Lackie Mac Donald, of Dunediin, defeated Carl Callaway, of Blenheim, by a technical knock-out in 15 rounds of their professional boxing bout on Saturday night. The fight went practically the full distance and all but two or three rounds ended in MacDonald's favour. In the fifteenth Callaway was floored. He could have been up at five, but stayed on one knee till the count of nine, when lie resumed the fight. Within half a minute of the final g*ong he again went down, and this time was too 6low in regaining his feet. One glove was still on the floor when the referee reached the count of out.' _ Though out-classed by a stronger and heavier man, Callaway put up a good performance and took a tremendous amount of punishment, . always smiling.
