SHEEPSKIN SALES. A. find N.Z. LONDON, July 25.

At the sheepskin' sales 4700 bundles woro offered. There was a fair demand oy the Home trade, but many were withdrawn owing to high limits. Full woolled Merinos and comebacJcs were generally 5 per cent, below the May prices. Shorter JUerinoa and medium to coarse crossbred combings were unchanged. Crossbred clothings and pelts were slightly dearer.

Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a fair entry of sheep and a medium yarding of cattle at their Feildins: sal© on Friday. There was a specially good demand for ewes in lamb, but a number of fat sheep failed to change hands. Quotations:—Fat lambs, to 27 a 6d; fat ewes, 265, 32s to 83s; fat wethers, to 39s 9d; cull hoggets, 12s; medium hoggets. 19s; very fair hoggets, 245; m.a. ewe.s r.w. Romncy rams. 28s; m.a, owes r.w.
