A pleasant social function was held at the Waikato Hospital yesterday afternoon; when the matron, Miss -"iFajact Moore, who is being ijent to England by the Public Health Department for a special instructional j; t'.ou;'se of trainisig, was fareweiied ; 'fby the staff. Mr. J. P. Bailey, chairman of the board, presented Miss Moore with a travelling rug from the nurses, and a fountain pen from the sisters. Miss Moore was thanked for her services to thb board, and congratulated ojv the honour conferred upon her. Miss Moore left , for Wellington last . evening, and leaves New Zealand by the Remucra on Tuesday. .
