A NOVEL HAT.
It is not often thai something entirely new in women's headgear* is to be seen; but a hat which in the hand does not; look like a hat at all has recently been invented by a clever womanIt consists of a stiffened Russian-shaped bandeau of some attractive material, - such as satin, silk, or leather, which ) is 'ornamented with wool embroidery, flowers, or any other fashionable trimming. On to this is gathered a divided length of the material which is intended to be quickly draped round the head by the veaier and fastened to a button on either bide of the bandeau. The result is a very becoming hat, ideal for motoring or sports wear, and one which, of, course, may be packed perfectly flat without being, spoilt in the least. ■ V.-\! .■'•■ ■ .'■ ■'.
