ENGLAND'S THIRD VICTORY.
TEST CRICKET AT LEEDS.
SOUTH AFRICA DEFEATED.
A MARGIN OF NINE WICKETS.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received 5.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z. LONDON. July 15. England won the third test cricket match at Leeds against South Africa by nine wickets. The South Africans in their second innings scored 323. leaving England 60 runs to make to wiu. These were secured for the loss of one wicket. Any chance the South Africans had of saving the match after the opening day's errors disappeared in seven minutes this morning, when Catterall foolishly ran Taylor out on an impossible run. Catterall 's discomfiture was immediately completed when Tate skittled his wickets. Deane played most confidently, and his effort was largely responsible for England having to bat again. Pegler was shaping soundly, but threw away his wicket in attempting a risky third run. This was the sixth suicidal incident of Hie game. England's only loss in the second innings was Hobbs, who played Blanckenberg on. The South African's batting was occasionally as good as England'si but their bowling, fielding and catching were much inferior. Following are the details of the scores:— SOUTH AFRICA.
