MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. REINSTATEMENT APPLICATIONS. The Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union met last evening, the chairman, Mr. H. Frost, presiding. About 40 members of the Jianukau Rovers League -club sent in applications for reinstatement in the Rugoy code. A deputation from the club waited on the union last week and expressed a desire to join the Rugby ranks. The applications will bo forwarded to the New Zealand Union. The NeiV Zealand Union notified that the Wellington Union had given notice to move at the special meeting an amendment of rule 14, which deals with voting powers of clubs, and rule 17. In the latter rule it is provided that a .requisition for a special meeting of the New Zealand Union must be signed by three unionit. Tho Wellington proposal is to make the required number One-third of the unions. FIXTURES FOIt SATURDAY. [by telegraph.—press association.] CARTERION. Wednesday. The match between Wairarapa and Wellington, played at Carterton to-day, rosulted in a win for Wairarapa by 18 points to 9. Wairarapa scored a try in the first three minutes, and before Wellington recovered secured a second try in a good position, a goal resulting. The third score also went to the winners, an infield pass late in the first spell seeing Booth place the ball behind the posts. Wellington played vigorously in the second spoil. Penalties fell repeatedly upon Wairarapa, no less than 19 free kicks being awarded.

The Wellington Colts' fifteen defeated Bush Districts by 35 points to 0 in a representative match at Athletic Park to-day. Fast, resourceful and combining excellently, the Wellington backs did what they liked. Ten trieft were scored, and four others were lorffc through faulty halndling. The Bush Districts' passing was lamentably poor in the first half, and their forwards worked only .spasmodically. In the second half Wellington overwhelmed the opposition, McKay, Griffin (2),' Kigge, Warwick, Martin and Smith scoring tries.
