CONFERENCE ARRANGEMENTS ANNOUNCEMENT TO BE MADE. Reuter. LONDON. July 14. In the House of Commons, Mr. W. G. A. Ormsby-Gore, who was Under-Secre-tary for the Colonies in the Baldwin Government, asked what arrangements had been reached concerning the Dominions. 1 ' representation at the Inter-Allied Conference.
Mr. Mac Donald replied that he was still communicating with the Dominion Governments. Mr. Ormsby-Gore asked if the statemen!; would be made before the conference .so that the public of the Dominions would know exactly beforehand what arrangements had been made. Mr. Mac Donald said the announcement would be made as soon as the matter had been arranged. Replying to a question, Mr. J. H. Thomas, Secretary of State for the Colonies, said the Government did not contemplate calling an Emp'irc Economic Conference for this year.
