TOCAL BILL. ; Notice is hereby jjiven that a Local Bill will be introduced into Parliament during the present session thereof under the title of the Auckland Electric Power Board Amendment Aot. 1924. amending the Auckland Electric Power Board Act,- 1921-22 (hereinafter called "the principal Act.") The objects of the Bill are:— (1) To provide for the preparation of j ratepayers' rolls for defirfed portions of the Auckland Electric Power District. (2) To vary the Qualification of persons eligible to be elected and to remain members of the Auckland Electric Power Board and as to a member voting on matter in which he has pecuniary interest. (8) To provide for appointment of auditor. (4) To enable Board to borrow money for defined portion of District. (5) To enable Board to levy separate rates for revenue purposes over defined portions of the District. (6) To. amend Section 47 of the principal Act relating to the establishment of special funds. (7) To amend Section 50 of the principal Act relating to the preparation of bal-ance-sheets. (8) To amend Section 68 of the principal Act relating to the erection of works by the Bosvrd.
