TRAM AND LORRY COLLIDE.
SYMONDS STREET ACCIDENT.
A collision between a tramcar and a motor-lorry, owned by the Kohi Carrying Company ? .occurred in Upper Symonds Street, shortly after four o'clock yesterday afternoon. The car and th§ lorry were both proceeding in the direction of the top of Symonds Street, when the lorry, it ia stated, swerved, with the result that the metal apron was torn off the front of the car. No one was injured. The lorry was only slightly damaged, while the damage done .to the tramcar was not very serious. ..
