BYFLEET MURDER CASE.
HOME OFFICE INQUIRIES. AN ELEMENT OF MYSTERY. A- and N..Z LONDON. July 13. Mysterious developments are} taking place in the case in which Jean Pierre Vaquier was found guilty of the murder of Alfred Jones, formerly licensee of the Blue Lion Hotel at Byfleet. After a statement by the condemned man, a prolonged conference was held between the pohce and the officials, of the Home Office. Mrs. Jones and another woman who had not been previously mentioned in the case were then called in and interviewed at the Home Office.
