PRIME MINISTER RETICENT.
fin: TELEGBAFH. —OWN' COKSESPONIJEXT. WELLINGTON. Monday.
In view of the decision of the Commonwealth Government to send the leader of the Labour Opposition with the Federal Attorney-General as Australia's delegates to the next conference of tho League of Nations in September, the Prime Minister was asked this morning whether similar action xvas contemplated in NewZealand.
Mr. Massey declined to discuss the matter at the present juncture.
The view is expressed in Government circles that there are difficulties due to the present political situation in sending a delegation.
