BAROMETRIC VARIATIONS.
UNSTEADY AT HIGH LEVEL.
In spite of the boisterous conditions there has been very little movement of the barometer. A slight fall was registered on Saturday morning, and at noon the reading was 3ftCoin. It remained practically steady for the next 24 hours, but after mid-day yesterday it again began to fall slowly, the reading at midnight being 29.90 i- The fall, however, was very erratic, the lino on the barograph showing upward and downward variations of .05in. at short intervals.
