HOTEL TRANSFER REFUSED.
LICENSEE'S NOTICE TO QUIT.

WOODVILLE, Saturday. The Fahiatua Licensing Committee at its annual meeting yesterday refused a permanent transfer of a new license to F. C. Tompkins in respect of the Masonic Hotel at Woodville-, on the ground that applicant was only holding the license on behalf of a family, who were objected to by.the police.- The application was adjourned for three months to give the licensee an opportunity of quitting the premises.
