FALKINER'S FINE PLAY.
Before a large attendance, including many women, Mr." G. Falkiner played Mr. W. E. Hackett at Billiards, Ltd., Strand Arcade, on Saturday evening. Falkiner, who conceded 350 points in a game of 800 up, won' comfortably, the final scores being 800 to 433. The winner's best breaks were 282, 126, 89 and 74. Mr. Falkiner * leaves this morning for Wellington, whence he will sail on Friday for Sydney, thus continuing his world tour.
