FILMS IN HONOLULU.
HAWAII BUREAU'S SERVICES.
The Hawaii Tourist Bureau, engaged mainly in directing attention to the tourist resorts of Hawaii, is giving in Honolulu on Monday afternoons a moving picture entertainment depicting the scenery and the attractions of New Zealand. The films were furnished to the bureau by the New Zealand Tourist Department, as a result of a visit made to New Zealand a few months ago by Mr. George T. Armitage, the secretary of the Hawaii Tourist Bureau, Mr. Armitage, when he visited New Zealand, was surprised to note the little advertising done overseas, and he undertook to see that all American visitors to Honolulu should receive booklets and other matter relating to New Zealand. He was of the opinion that this action would induce a greater influx of American tourists, to whom at present New Zealand is very little known through lack of advertising.
