The Rtrapehn, 'which, is due at Auckland oil Monday from .London and Southampton, is bringing a Email party of 91 assisted immigrants, the figures for which are as follows: —Auckland: Men, 6; women, 14; children, 21; total, 41. Napier and Wanganni, 2, 2, 4—B; Wellington, 4, 5, 4—13; Wesfcport, 1, 1, 46; Lyttelton, 1, 2, 2—5; Timaru, 2, 2, 610; Dunedin, 2, 2, 2—6, Bluff, 0, 1, I—2. The totals are: Men, 18 women, '29 children, 44. Those booked for ports south of Auckland will leave by the Main Trunk express on Monday evening.

One of the largest batches of assisted immigrants to enter the Dominion for some time is expected to arrive by the Athenic, which is due at Wellington next Tuesday from London and Southampton. There are on hoard 412 newcomers, who are bound for various ports, as follows, the figures for men being mentioned first, then those for women and children:— Auckland, 40, 48. To; total, 161; Napier, 5, 3, 0—8: New Plvmouth and Wanganui, 6, 2, 5—13; Wellington, 19, 49, 20—88; West Coast, 7, 6, 14—27; Lyttelton, 12, 15, 28— Timaru and Oamaru, 5. 1,1 7; Danedin and Bluff, 17, 11, 25— The totals are: Men, 111; women, 135; and children, 166? Included in the party are 39 domestics. . One of the most interesting parties of immigrants will be that which is coming by the Remuera, which is due at Auckland on June 26 from Southampton. Included in this party are 25 boys, who are being brought out under the auspices of the New Zealand Sheepowners' British Seamen Fund. The lads, whose average age is about 16 years, are all orphans of British seamen, who lost their lives in the great war. They will proceed to the farm at Marton, recently purchased from Mr. McKelvie. After six months' training they will be drafted to various farms as cadets.

Also included in tie Remuera's passengers are 15 public school boys, who are coming under the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce scheme. All these boys will be placed with farmers in the Taranaki district. Five other public school boys are destined for farms in the North Auckland district.
