It was gradually becoming a metropolitan area. ;

The Hon. C. J. Parr reviewed the needs of education in- the Dominion ''. in the light of v the forthcoming estimates of; expenditure. ;! He said that Wellington had been particularly well treated in the matter of provision for secondary education. He had, however, marked down for special consideration the provision of technical workshops at Wei lington t at an' approximate X. cost +: ; of £25,000. .
