QUEENSLAND SAPPHIRES.
SALE OF £15,000 WORTH.

The Queensland Minister for Mines, Mr. ; A. J. Jones, stated to-day that he had sold £15,000 worth of sapphires under the State disposal scheme, and. that he hoped shortly .to arrange a plan to stabilise prices on the London market, and so increase the export of Queensland sapphires.
