TRAMCARS COLLIDE.
GLASS IN DOOR BROKEN.
ACCIDENT IN SYMONDS STREET.
A collision between two tramcars occurred in Upper Symonds Street at about 7.45 o'clock last evening, resulting in slight damage. Opposite the Lyric Picture Theatre an outward-bound car overtook and struck the rear of a Dominion Road car. The rear of the front car was dented, and the glass in the door dividing the smoking from the non-smoking section, was broken. There was a congestion of cars for a short time, after which both trams continued their journeys. No one was injured. ,
