GIPSY PAT SMITH.
ADDRESS TO MINISTERS.
The mission being conducted by Captain Gipsy Pat Smith continues to attract considerable attention, and clergymen of almost every denomination appear to be interested in the progress of the movement. The services are intended to be of benefit to all, and the missioner asserts that his policy forbids him to disparage any particular'faith. He accordingly aims to" make the appeal of his services universal, and seeks the co-operation of ministers irrespective of creed. At a meeting held in the Farmers' Trading Company's buildings yesterday four ministers, representing practically every denomination in the city, were addressed by the preacher. The campaign chairman, the Rev. Percy N. Knight, welcomed the ministers on behalf of the executive committee, and spoke briefly on the progress of the mission.
