OBITUARY.
MR. EDWARD HAYOO. CK.
The death of Mr. Edward Haydock; of 5 Landscape Road, Mount' Eden, removes a' well-known figure in the Auckland engineering world. Aged 47, he was familiar m engineering circles as patent attorney in Auckland, and his death ; will la deeply regretted by his many friends. His early days were spent at Haydock Park, Bickershaw, Lancashire, and prior . to coming to New Zealand 16 years ago he was engiri-eer-in-charge at Sir William Baileys Ltd., Salford, Lancashire. Upon his arrival at Auckland he was appointed engineering' instructor at the Seddon Memorial Techweal College. Mr. Haydock was a bronze medallist v (1911) of the City and Guilds Institute. He is survived by a widow andv - two sons, aged 15 and 18 years respectively. The interment was at Waikaraka Cemetery.- ,/":.-;.'. -• v-«/:'v MR. G. L.
