BOOKSELLERS' CONFERENCE., CONDITIONS OF TRADE. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. May ,15. A conference of Australian and New Zealand booksellers is being held in Sydney. It has appointed Mr. H. C. South (New Zealand) and Mr. W. Pyke (Victoria) delegates to approach the publishing houses of Great Britain to attempt to get better terms and conditions for booksellers in the Southern Hemisphere. BELIEF .OF UNEMPLOYMENT. . ~ SYDNEY May 15. The New South Wales State Cabinet has decided tq vote a sum of £20,000 for the purpose of providing productive work for-the relief of ; unemployment. \-
