RAILWAY COLLISION.
ACCIDENT IN VICTORIA. TWO TRAINS DAMAGED. A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE, May 12.' An electric train, while travelling at a rate of 15 miles an hour, crashed into a goods train which was waiting to enter Royal! Park, station, and derailed six trucks. The impact completely wrecked the van of the - goods train/ " , The guard had a miraculous escape from death. He was flung the ■ full length of: the van and buried beneath the wreckage; He only suffered abrasions arid shock. ! The driver of the electric train'' also cscapcd, though his van was partially wrecked. No passengers were seriously injured. , % \ f
