AMALGAMATION PROPOSAL. ■ TO-MORROW'S POLL. >: A poll of the ratepayers in the Mount Eden Borough on the proposal to amalgamate with the city will be held to-mor-row. The polling places, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., are as follows:—Borough Council Office, Valley Road; Winger and Sons' motor garage, Mount Eden Road, opposite Sylvan Avenue; Fenton's store, corner of Stokes and Mount Eden Roads ; Cant-ell's tearooms, Mount Eden tram terminus; Eayr's shop, corner of Mount Eden and Shackleton Roads; Newdick's shop, Dominion Road; Druids' Hall, corner of Valley and Dominion Roads; Stubbs' shop, Dominion Road tram terminus; Miss Glover's shop, Dominion Road, near Queen's Avenue.
