C. L. Tuke, presided over a large : attendance. The report and balance-sheet showed the finances to be .. in a satisfactory condition. During the year the electric light was 'installed in church, vicarage, and hall, thanks to the work of the Ladies' Guild. The hall "■ section '> was drained and filled in, the funds being raised "by the Girls' •Friendly Society and a. Paddy's Market. The J. following officers were elected:— Vicar's ;: warden, -v Mr.' N. ; Somerfield'j; people's warden, Mr. E. C. Brown; vice-' try, Messrs. A. Hill/ S.T. Roper, H. Nutt, J.:H. Clayton, E. J. Hawkings, G. Hunter, E." M. !J. Litt, and Caudwell} auditor, Mr. N. C. Kensington. '-. After the ordinary business, the parish-, ioners accorded a farewell to Mr. Tuke, ■who has resigned after years' service in the ministry, the last three years as vicar of Ellerslie. On behalf' of the parishioners, Mr. Brown, people's warden, presented Mr. Tuke with a cheque in recognition of his faithful service in the. parish. Mrs. Walker, for the Ladies' Guild, presented Mrs. Tuke with a beautiful bouquet. , Refreshments were provided :by the ladiep. The new vicar; the Rev.
