CRIMINAL SESSIONS.
INDICTMENTS AT AUCKLAND. SIXTEEN PERSONS CHARGED ONE MANSLAUGHTER CASE. The second criminal sessions for the year of the Auckland Supreme Court will be opened next Tuesday. The list up to yesterday afternoon totalled 15 cases, involving 16 persons. The most; important case is that of alleged maaslaughter, for which John Andrew Fore will stand his trial. There is one charge of cattle-stealing, one of horsestealing, and two of sheep-stealing. Charges relating to sexual offences total four. The cases so far listed are as follow — John Andrew Fox, alleged manslaughter, at Auckland. Clyde Powell Ludwig, alleged cattlestealing, at Pukekohe. Clyde Powell Ludwig, Walker Barraclough and Perc;f McGilvray, (alleged horse-stealing, at Pukekohe. Walter Robert McMahon, alleged sheep-stealing, at Thames. William Spooner, alleged assault with intent to commit rape, at Auckland. Walter Vincent, alleged} false pretences, at Auckland. Oswald Dryland, alleged obscene exposure, at Auckland. Maud Herbert, alleged use of instrument, at Auckland. George Morris, being a bankrupt, did allegedly quit New Zealand with property to the amount of £20 belonging to creditors, at Auckland. Harold George Allen, alleged theft (18 charges); and alleged fraudulently destroying a document in possession of the Government (2 charges), at Waiuku. Charts Matthew O'Malley, alleged breaking and entering a warehouse and theft, at Auckland. Milton McMillan, alleged sheep-steal-ing, at Auckland. AngfeLo Constant a/Ileged indecent assault on girl, aged 11, at Auckland. Harold James Tierney, alleged theft, at Auckland. Alexander Linton, alleged forgery, at Auckland.
