TWO AMERICAN CITIZENS. GOVERNMENT'S REGRETS. POLITICAL OBJECT ALLEGED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received 7.30 p.m.) Sun. LONDON, April 7. A , telegram from Tirana, Albania, states that two American merchants named Belong and Coroman, have been murdered on the Tirana-Scutari Road. The perpetrator.3 are unknown. The Albanian Government has announced that it deeply regrets the crime, which is the first of the kind committed in Albania. The Government is convinced that it had A political object, and was committed in the hope of discrediting Albania. The Government has taken strong measures to secure the arrest and punishment of the murderers.
