LONDON DAIRY MARKETS.

BUTTER AND CHEESE PRICES. [HX TJMGEATH. OWN - CORRESPONDENT.} HAMILTON. Tuesday The New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., has received a cablegram from its London manager, Mr. J. B. Wright, stating that "Anchor" butter is selling at 158s; unsalted 160s. All prices are nominal meantime, and the market is quiet. Danish butter is selling at 1645, after having fallen to 160s. The retail prices of New Zealand and Danish butter are Is 4d and Is 6d and Is Bd, respectively. The cheese market showed a slight increase in price during the past week, both white and coloured reaching 90s, but it has again fallen to 86s. The casein and milk powder markets are unchanged, although Mr. Wright reports sales amounting to 100 tons of milk powder for the week, which is considerably more than usual.
