DEALINGS IN LIQUOR.
A. and N.Z. WASHINGTON. Mar. 19. - A New York advertising agent named Orr testified to the Senate Committee, which . is investigating the oil scandals, that he often breakfasted with Daugherty and Smith. Orr had a2O per pent, interest in the Carpentier fight films, and declared that he made payments totalling 200,000 dollars for the release of
, ; liquor.
The witness said he did not know what became ' of the money except that it was for bribes to keep the cases out of the Law Courts. He always gave such moneys to Mannington, a friend of Daugherty.
